[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki's smile widens at the Yasuki's comment, and she leans forward into a more comfortable position, with one arm supporting her chin as she watches the other woman.

"It's lucky that I removed that ceramic chip when I did, then. I would hate to imagine such skilled hands losing any of their natural talent."

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Damn straight," she managed to slur out, "these hands are effin' magic." She coughed a bit, and started swaying slowly.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

The shugenja raises her eyebrows in clear interest, but drowns any comment she may have made with another slow sip of sake.

[Yasuki Himiko]

There was another hiccup that popped out, and then she poured another round for the two of them. She drunkenly figured that the Hida was indisposed. "You seem like yer pretty talented with yer hands, too."

[Hida Musasha]

Musashi comes back and returns to eating. "Made room for the shrimp!" He bites the head off one, crunching on the shell and all.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

The comment drew a surprised laugh from the shugenja.

"And just what gives Yasuki-san that impression, I wonder?"

She grins a bit wider than usual as she lifts the sake cup in a slightly unstable hand.

"To talent?" she toasts, before once more sipping at the drink.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"*hic* yer a medic, right? Medicsre supposed to *hic* be good with their hands." She picked up the bowl and raised it. "To talent!" She hit the drink hard... then fell backwards with a thud, the bowl now laying on her bare stomach. After a moment, she started to get up slowly. "Damn... how much have I had...?"

[Hida Musasha]

Musasha also drinks to the toast.

He then shakes his head to the Yasuki, "drinking from that, about 4 cups per pour."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki giggles as she leans forward over the table to look down at the other woman. "More than I have, apparently!" When Musasha confirms her suspicions, her grin only widens.

She leans back a bit, but still remains propped up on the table with both hands.

"Do you need to be walked back to your room? I wouldn't want to see you go over the edge."

Her words were littered with more giggles and tiny laughs, no doubt the effects of multiple toasts.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Damn," she mutters, putting the cup back on the table. "Room? Oh, yeah. Room. Sure, that sounds like th'right place teh go. Maybe one o' them *hic* herbal thingamawhozits?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"We'll stop by the sick room first," she says, nodding as she pushes herself up onto her somewhat unsteady feet. "Okay. Right."

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Sounds good," she murmured, standing up ever so slowly. She swayed back and forth a couple of times before beginning to walk slowly towards the Iuchi.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki waits for the Yasuki woman and then carefully leads her towards the sick bay, making sure to walk ahead of her down the stairs just in case Himiko tripped. From her gait, however, it appeared that the Unicorn was a bit tipsy herself.

[Akodo Jishaku]

Naomi gave the Akodo her full attention as he told his tale, occassionaly giving a soft exclamation of surprise, awe or shock according to what was told.

As he raised his cup in a toast, she, somewhat hesitantly, followed suit. "It will be an honor to stand beside you, but I pray we shall have a peaceful voyage."

Oh dear... my first battle... I can't admit to a Lion I've never seen combat before.

"Yes it will be, Shiba-san." He gives her a dazzling smile and laughs. "Pray for peace, train for war. That's all I have to say about peacetime. Anyway, it seems our companions have livened up a bit, I think I heard something about tentacle monsters from Hida-san over there." He gestures towards the Crab with his cup and takes another swallow of sake. "What of yourself Shiba-san? What skills do you bring with you from the Phoenix to the Imperial Navy?"

[Hida Musasha]

Rinzuki waits for the Yasuki woman and then carefully leads her towards the sick bay, making sure to walk ahead of her down the stairs just in case Himiko tripped. From her gait, however, it appeared that the Unicorn was a bit tipsy herself.

Musasha watches the two women leave and pours the remaining contents of his sake bowl onto the deck for Suitengu before stowing it again. He grabs a fist full of shrimp and a rice ball before he stands and stretches, his athletic and muscular build being displayed unintentionally, before he heads below. "Got armor to make seaworthy and want to be up early." He bows to the assembled a bit awkwardly, then heads below.

[Yoritomo Uminushi]

Qian-Fan had been busy, very busily choosing where he would strike to sink the vessel if he had to when the sound of breaking ceramics cut through his distraction. For a moment he considered intervening but the Unicorn had got there first. No point being rude and cutting in now. He was Isawa trained . . . but not an Isawa.

Uminushi did not sneak. A Captain did not need to sneak on his own ship. No. He simply walked up behind Qian-Fan and positioned himself in such a manner as to see what the Phoenix saw. When the Isawa came back to himself, the Yoritomo spoke. "Might I ask what Agasha-san was contemplating?"

It was a friendly question with a hint of good humor in it.

[Agasha Qian-Fan]

A brief flinch, almost spilling the sake he was carefully nursing to last the entire night.

"Ah Yoritomo-sama, I did not hear you approach, my apologies. I was merely deciding where I would strike if I had to sink a similar vessel. Hitting the masts would hinder it's movement but do little to actually sink the ship. Fire or holing it below the waterline seems a better plan."

[Shiba Naomi]

"Yes it will be, Shiba-san." He gives her a dazzling smile and laughs. "Pray for peace, train for war. That's all I have to say about peacetime. "Well, I'm not much of great warrior... I'm more inclined to archery rather than melee combat, as..." she kinda gestured to herself, "I'm not exactly very big like the rest of you." Naomi allowed herself a small chuckle, making it clear she was quite realistic about her limitations.
"But, I'm more aclined to other things, like... predicting the weather, knowledge of the coastlines, and cooking."

[Yoritomo Uminushi]

"It depends on whether you're using spells or ballistas and how good you're at aiming the last," he replies with a chuckle. The Captain casually tips his cup to the side to allow some of the sake to fall to the wooden floor. It paid to be respectful and it paid to give whatever listening Fortunes their due.

Uminushi moves to join Qian-fan at his table, ignoring whatever discomfort his presence might elicit from the young man. Once seated, the Mantis drops his voice confidingly, eyes glinting with good humor even as his expression turns serious, "By the by, Agasha-san, I wouldn't recommend making any references to 'sinking similar vessels' whilst you're on board. We sailors are a superstitious lot and who knows what will carry to the Fortune's ears."

"But, if we were to speak hypothetically about sinking say... a pirate ship, that's purely academic, very useful, and of no harm, neh?" a conspiratorial grin surfaces as he gives the Phoenix a wink.

[Akodo Jishaku]

Oh poot.

The Lion grins. "Then we have something in common Shiba-san. Archers can be great warriors too you know, I am also a student of the bow. Not that I'd outright say I'm a great warrior mind you."

He nods, satisfied. "Knowledge of weather, maps and such is a great asset on a ship. Always good to know a cook when you get tired of ratios too."
