[Yasuki Himiko]

"Thank you," she muttered lightly. "Join us for the next round of drinks?" She motioned for the Iuchi to stay put, looking around frantically for something to use as a third cup.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"I would be delighted, thank you." She looks down at the bloody shard and carefully picks it up, before looking sideways and tossing it off the edge of the boat. "If I have too much, though, please make sure that I make it back to my berth in one piece."

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Oh, don't worry about it. I'm used to draggin' people back to their quarters when the sake overtakes them." Finally finding an acceptable substitute for a sake cup (a tea cup, amusingly), she poured a drink out for the Iuchi. "It's your toast, Iuchi-san."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki considers the cup for a moment, and then leans forward, her voice little more than a whisper. "Would it be inappropriate to toast the tentacle monsters?" she asks, a wicked gleam in her eyes.

[Hida Musasha]

"Only while they live. Once they are dead, you can do whatever you want to them." The man seems utterly serious.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Why in the hell would you want to toast the tentacle monsters?" An eyebrow was raised in the Iuchi's direction.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki shrugs her shoulders as she sits up, though the look never seems to leave her eyes. "Perhaps we should simply toast to the health of the Captain?"

She raises her cup questioningly.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Captain's health it is," she said skeptically, raising the sake bowl and taking a long sip. The hell is this woman's problem?

[Hida Musasha]

Musashi drinks, following up with stuffing his mouth with something unidentifiably deep fried.

His mouth still full, "whose turn?"

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Think it's my turn. Hmmmm..." She poured the next round, then lifted the bowl up. "To... hell, I don't know... to bathing?"

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki sips at her sake, finishing it much more slowly than either of her drinking partners. She eyes the Hida's table manners with a look of mild amusement.

"To bathing," she says, lifting her cup as she grins back at Himiko.

[Hida Musasha]

Musashi pulls the package out of his obi, "and soap!" He replaces it and drinks.

[Yasuki Himiko]

Himiko takes a big swig, and then... carefully places the bowl down so as not to break it. Her face was now just a bit flush, a clear sign that she actually had been drinking for quite a while now. "Yer toast, Hida-san." Her eyes moved over to the Iuchi. "So what's yer story, eh? Don't think I got to ask that earlier today in the quarters."

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"My story?" Rinzuki looks at the Yasuki questioningly, though she seemed to be holding her sake well enough so far. "It's rather uninteresting, compared to the stories I've heard at this table. What would Yasuki-san wish to know?"

[Hida Musasha]

The man thinks for a moment, "How about we drink to the good food we have tonight."

He tips back his cup and his eyes grow wide as his cheeks puff up.

He makes tracks for the edge of the ship and loses a mouthful of dinner into the sea. Not enough to be considered sea sickness, but obviously he ate too much a bit too fast in the choppy water the boat was sitting in.

[Yasuki Himiko]

"What were ye doing that got ye here? Ye do-*hic*... don't look like the type-a person who'd be doin' sea stuff." There was a goofy smile appearing on her face.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

Rinzuki casts a surprised glance towards Musasha as he bolts for the railing. "I hadn't though that the Crab would be so prone to injury and sickness," she says, looking back to Himiko with a teasing smile.

"To answer you question," she continues, "There has been talk of a advisory postion attached to the Imperial Navy, which would serve as a liason between the Navy and the Baraunghar army. My name found its way to the top of the list, and so here I am."

[Yasuki Himiko]

"Ah, so yer gonna be one of them diplomat-y types? *hic* I wish you good luck and only good luck. Hell, certainly better you than me." She grins over at the Hida, then takes another hit of sake. "To the food," she says with a chuckle.

[Iuchi Rinzuki]

"I like to think of myself more as an 'advisor' than any sort of diplomat or courtier. I keep up morale, ensure that all avenues of thought are given their due consideration, and chime in on whatever little details I feel are being overlooked in the grand scheme of things."

She raises her cup to the Yasuki's toast and takes another slow sip from her drink.

"What about yourself? Would I be incorrect in assuming that you are a bushi?"

[Yasuki Himiko]

"You'd be correc*hic*... correct in that assumption. I'm someone who is... how do ya put it... good with their hands." Her face didn't show any recognition of the potential innuendo in her statement, especially considering that since the last hit she had been grinning like a madwoman.
